MAUI PADDLING HUI (MPH) MAUI to MOLOKAI (M2M) 2020

April 11 @ Kaunakakai, HI, United States

GENERAL INFO

MAHALO TO MAUI JIM, OZONE & KAI WA'A, FOR THEIR GENEROUS SPONSORSHIP!

Aloha Paddlers.

The Maui Paddling Hui regrets to inform you that the 2020 M2M race will not be able to happen as scheduled this year.

Maui County has closed the parks at the race start and finish, and the DLNR has informed us that all Hawaii Marine Ocean Water Event permits are cancelled for the next 30 days.

Equally important, we do not want to place undue risks and burdens on the small Island of Molokai where there are many elderly residents and limited medical resources.

We will email all registered paddlers later this week after our board sorts out the finer details of this cancellation.

Thank you for your understanding and respect. Stay safe out there!

ALL REGISTERED PADDLERS: Be sure you complete the Waiver/Paddler information form after registering at: MPH 2020 M2M RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY.  Your registration will be cancelled if we don't receive this within 24 hours of completing this registration.

There will be NO Wait List.
Residencies will be verified. Be sure you are accurate to avoid entry cancellation!
The MPH Registration Team is sorting through all registrations to verify residency, qualifying information, and entry details as quick as possible. Due to the huge volume of emails and registrations this week, we have not sent out any confirmation of spots in the race yet. We hope to have most of these out this weekend, however, the paddlers without qualifying race times may take longer to research. We appreciate your patience!!!!!
Have fun and be safe out there!
-the MPH Registration Team
