INFO NEEDED TO REGISTER

  • Boat make and color.  SORRY, NO CHANGES OR DECISIONS ON RACE DAY
  • Emergency Contact Name and Phone Number (non paddler please)
  • Credit Card for $40 Payment.  NO ON SITE "DAY OF" PAYMENT
  • TWO Paddler teams also need; 
    - Partner email address
    - Partner cell phone number
    - Partner's emergency contact name and phone number  
    - Coupon code for 2023 members ONLY

    TEAM NAME IS TWO BOTH PADDLER'S LAST NAME.  Love your creativity, but it makes it impossible for us to find you in the system.

PFD's, LEASHES, AND BRIGHT COLORED JERSEYS REQUIRED FOR ALL MPH EVENTS THIS YEAR 

ALL paddlers must wear inflatable waist pack or full size USCG approved Type I, II, III, or V Personal Flotation Device (PFD) the entire time they are paddling during EVERY MPH EVENT. ISO 12402-5 rating also acceptable. 
LEASH MUST BE SECURED FROM BOAT TO PADDLER FOR THE ENTIRITY OF THE RACE.

$40 PER PERSON.

REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE at MIDNIGHT TWO DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

NO DAY OF EVENT REGISTRATION OR CHANGES OF BOAT OR TEAMMATES.

BOAT NUMBER STICKERS WILL BE HANDED OUT WHEN YOU SIGN IN ON RACE DAY. WE ARE UNABLE TO HOLD SPECIAL NUMBERS FOR BOATS THIS YEAR.  NUMBER STAYS WITH THE BOAT FOR THE SEASON REGARDLESS OF PADDLER. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE STICKERS ONCE THEY ARE RECEIVED AS WE HAVE LIMITED NUMBER OF STICKERS AVAILABLE.

Juniors 'fly free'  AND MUST MEET THE ADULT REGISTRATION DEADLINE. ENTER 'MPHjr' IN THE PAYMENT COUPON BOX.

Finish line: Hanakao'o Beach Park

1st leg:Haycraft to Papalaua (Grandma's) 5.3mi
2nd leg:Papalaua to Olowalu/Single-tree 5mi
3rd leg:Olowalu/Single-tree to Guardrails 2.8mi
4th leg:Guardrails to Mala Wharf 3.4mi
5th leg:
Mala Wharf to Hanakao'o Beach Park 1.7mi
6th leg:Hanakao'o beach park to Black Rock and back 2.8 mi

ADDITIONAL RELAY RULES:

  • Paddlers must alternate each leg, no doubling up.
  • For OC-2 coed, must have 1 male and 1 female on the canoe at a time. Not 2 males one leg and 2 females the next.
  • For iron paddlers, mandatory 2-minute stops at Papalaua and Guardrails


EVENT FEES COVER FIXED COSTS SUCH AS SAFETY BOATS, REGISTRATION EQUIPMENT, INSURANCE, ETC.

TIMED FINISH RESULTS WILL BE POSTED ON THIS SITE AS SOON AS THEY ARE FINALIZED AFTER THE RACE 
SO YOU CAN SEE HOW YOU DID.
