The race site is adjacent to the (west) of the Detroit Yacht Club (DYC) on Belle Isle Beach.  It is easiest to follow the signs for the DYC as a point of reference on the island.

Belle Isle is a Michigan State Park.  In order to enter and access the event site please make sure your vehicle is properly registered in the DNR Recereation Passport program found here  http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,4570,7-153-10365_55798---,00.html

Passes may also be purchased the day of the race at the entrance gate.

Board Storage accommodations have been made at the hotel.  Be sure to ask at reservation!

Camping:

Please reference the DNR database for local camping options. A recreation passport is required at both

the campgrounds and the Belle Isle State Park Beach (Race Site). Belle Isle is a state park but does NOT

have a campground.
